I drew this budgie template for my 2010 Jack O Lantern. It turned out really nice. This template is for for you to print and use on your pumpkins. It's best on a really big pumpkin but open it in photoshop and shrink it for smaller pumpkins. The file is very big so it should print nicely. Here is what it looks like on the pumpkin I carved. [link]White parts you leave, grey parts cut all the way through.

Like i told in your Scary Fear pumpkin pattern i immediately loved it, the pose is very natural i love the spots on his/her cheeks, the design very simple but enjoyable. I saw the photo with carved pumpkin, it turned out greatly^^

Thanks. I don't think Anyone had ever done a budgie pumpkin so this was the first. I know some people used the pattern. I'm glad you like it. For me pumpkin carving is hard so I want to keep my designs simple. I don't want to be cutting and scraping all day. I forgot I posted that photo here too.

You are welcome. The idea of budgie is really original as Halloween theme because most of people would have used owls or at best ravens/crows but budgies are unique! You are right to use simple shapes so you donìt have to cut and scrap all day and people can appreciate the overall composition without getting lost in the details.
