Description The Resplendent Quetzal. This is one of my favorite birds. They have metallic green and red feathers all around, and are known for the long streamer tails of the males. It is a symbol of freedom for many Central American countries the way the Bald Eagle is for the U.S. It is also Guatemala's national bird. If you love quetzals use this stamp to share your love.

Thank you. I think it' one of the first quetzal stamps on DA.  Yes it is and I love them too.  I downloaded one of the free templates here. Then you find or make an image and shrink it to fit under the template.  I use photoshop.  I could show you in more detail if you want but I don't know other programs.

I don't have Photoshop, but when I have time I will try making a stamp in the mobile photo editing app PicsArt. Thanks for telling me how to make a stamp! I think I will put pictures of my favourite food and plants on my stamps.

No se si lo dije bien. Hemos ya hablado sobre ellos. Me contaste como quieres las aves. Le diste fave a mi periquita Bullet y tuvimos otras conversaciones. Sorath es me quenta de fotografia. Esta es mi quenta de fan art.  Thagirion es mi quenta de arte original y my quenta principal. Como te dije me gustaria un dia visitar a tu pais para buscar aves y visitar a Tikal.

Dale una vista a mi galeria aqui. Me encanta dibujar a Miedo y pienso que te gustaria mi arte. Espero hacer mas y un comic pronto.

Yo digo Comics tambien. Es mas facil.
Si pero es much trabjo hacerlos. Bueno parami porque todo lo empiezo tradicional en papel. Despues lo escaneo y de alli lo pinto en photoshop. Pudieras dejar comentarios en mis dibujos llamados What Lies Within Fear y Deepest Fear? Si necesitas traducion lo puedo hacer.

A OSI gracias es que se me ha complicado el ingles
Y si eso de hacerlos en digital es difícil yo hice uno pero me pase toda una tarde haciéndolo y eso que solo era una pagina
Yo también estoy haciendo y creando uno tengo la idea desde el 2013.
Pero todos los capítulos son arte simple y tradicional
Y apenas llevo 4 capítulos

Y si tienes razón ha veces es tardado hacerlos

I've never heard of these birds before. They're beautiful.

Is this where the mesoamerican god Quetzalcoatl gets his name (or vice vearsa)? Quetzalcoatl is described as a feathered serpent, usually shown with green and red feathers.

Not many people outside of Central America know about them. I'm hoping to introduce more people to them by making art of them.

Yes, Quetzalcoatl was inspired by the Quetzal bird. He's a combination of snake and quetzal. On my main account I have a character based on him that in human form he'll sometimes have the wings of a quetzal [link]

They are really neat birds. The males with the long tails can be four feet long. Thanks for the comment.
