Description
In my obsessive study of deer I am determine to learn about every species and how to tell apart. I moved away from red deer, elk and now doing whitetail and Mule deer. Throughout my research I found a picture of a very handsome Mule deer buck and I decided to draw him. He’s not my most detailed work, but I like him.I showed this to my father and he told me to stop drawing deer and try something new. So I’m trying something new… once I decide what it is (Maybe I’ll try and master wolves or lions)

I have attempted Moose, but I am new to them and I don't find them as attractive as other deer. I am working on learning the antlers structure of Moose though

Just be careful drawing wolves is highly addictive... I know from person experience...

this is, I guess, a little simpler, and not a full body picture either huh. I like the shading in the one a whole lot. The pose is very majestic hehe. I don't quite know what it is but this deer looks a lot simpler and smoother, which I like. hehe yeah either wolves or lions are good, they would both be great choices, and there isn't as many variations...I think hehe. Good luck and Deers are pretty awesome, but I still like Wolves and Lions more

LOL, perhaps, it was not said in a bad way. He meant more that I seemed to have learnt deer enough and can try something new and learn it in the detail I have deer. But I throw the jealousy thing at him next time... he'd probably laugh.
