Perhaps Dino isn't so helpless without his family...

Great lighting, beautiful expression, great pose...
The only this I can think of that looks off is the chair.
It doesn't quite look like he's leaning back in it, when
he should be. I might be because the armrests look
a bit too far back.

Let's see, when I look at the chair, I think that the armrests are too far back.
We want to get more of a sense of depth, right? So that means there are angled guidelines that help create the illusion of depth. Things that are closer to the "camera" are bigger. Keeping this in mind, when you look at the picture again you can see. I think that the arms of the big cushioned chair that Dino's resting ended too close to his elbows and forearms. When looking at just the chair's back, it's easy to see that Cavallone is leaning comfortably back. His body sinks into the chair because of this.
The arms could be larger in the front, kind of like /-\, if you will. The other thing is that Dino looks like he's sitting at the edge of the chair, when clearly, he's not. Again, just extend the cushions out and it should look better!
I think the chair in Xanxus' picture looks better, but could still use some work.
Phew, now THAT was a long message.
