Normally Winnie does not meddle in the affairs of wild Pokemon. There is a natural order. She'd only gone down to look for a gift for her neighbor friend Raoul. She doesn't normally pick fights.

...but when a giant four-armed, ham fisted Machamp is beating on a crying Tyrogue, Winnie's Mama Mode comes in full swing, as does ALLL the fairy glitter.

After sending the Machamp packing, the tiny fighter needed medical attention, and a safe place. So, after some consideration, she decided to go ahead and surprise Raoul with a little scamp.

"Raoul, meet Alwyne the Tyrogue. Alwyne, meet your new dad."
