And here I am with more dark depressing drawings. xDI´m so inspired to draw this kind of themes. And March 1st is Self Injury Awareness Day, so I wanted to show the pain of the people who suffer this.

Esa es la intención... que se vea esa angustia de no poder controlar lo que haces. Todo tiene un simbolismo... desde el color de la piel, hasta la manera en que su propio pelo la ata.

Yeah, I must to admit that I like the hair a lot too. It took some tries to draw it like I wanted, but I´m happy with the result. It has its own meaning too. As everything in this picture.
And you´re right. She´s trying to protect herself, from herself.

Yeah, the hair was a moment of inspiration. I wanted to symbolize how a part of her, something that wasn´t supposed to be like that, is what makes her hurt.

The hair thing has its meaning. When something about you (a part of you) is what hurts you, even if it shouldn´t be like that.

OMG, this painting really hurt! I mean you can feel the pain through the painting. It`s fantastic, the way you mixed red, white and black. And also the pose of the girl is amazing. It`s just really sad to know someone who suffers this. I`m so sorry for all these people who suffer it.

I´m glad to read that, because that was my intention. At first I planned to use "normal" colors, but then I thought black/white/red gave it a darker-more-painful feeling.
Yeah, it´s a very hard illness and the sad part is that a lot of people make fun of it. I have heard/read a lot of people saying stupid things about emos wanting atention...
