i dont want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't read the books yet (why?!) but the ENDING. ooh, the ending......

gosh, how to say this without spoilers?!
hex hall devastated me because of the cellar incident at the end (no spoiler there, right?)
demonglass got me more upset at some of the characters i already was mad at, and got me upset at some characters i liked. it also introduced me to some characters that i liked, and others that i didnt.
and spellbound took basically every character i could possibly like in any way at all and crushed them into fine powder using a mortar and pestel, mixed that powder with acid water, and poured the mixture over my broken heart.
