i like this shot. the technicals bug me, but i really like the feel of the image.and on the note of technicals, i think i have decided to sign up for a large format class over the summer. it should be fun.

It's a shame you don't tell us what your problem is on the technical side. It isn't obvious to me. It is a wonderful thing to work with a large format camera... but now that everyone has moved to digital, it is a lot harder... more trouble to get film and chemicals... more trouble to do the work. But you CAN learn a lot from the experience.

the problems as i saw it were from noise and softness of focus, the first from shooting at too high of an iso because it was still early morning and not very bright out yet, and the other because it was handheld. both could have been solved with a tripod, but unfortunately i dont travel with one very often.
i am looking forward to the large format though. i am taking a class through my school this summer. first meeting is tomorrow, so hopefully i do okay!

I like that one too. I might've croped in a square format myself, but its very nice as it is...
