Description Edge of the world. Occurring ironically enough right in the middle of the country, high in the sky over St. Louis.

Nice B&W conversion and all. Fitting title, too

Fantastic mate, shots from planes are difficult, and if they're done right will almost always impress. I wish I thought of it the last few times I flew.

Yeah, I have always thought that they were really hard to pull off because I could never get a shot that did not have the wing in the image, but then I realized it was because I always ask for exit row seating so that I will get more leg room. That was a moment of stupidity when I realized why I always seemed to get the wing.

Anyway, you still have to deal with shooting through two layers of really dirty glass that was catching mad reflections from the sun that was just rising out my window. So this shot I had to do much more than my usual post-processing to make it presentable, and therefore I don't like it as much. I am not against using photoshop to clean images up, but I don't do it very often so it looks juvenile to me when I do. I envy your post-processing skills.

I use actions, they make it so much easier. You can take a good photo and turn it into a winner by hitting the action shortcut and customising all the settings. If I get Photoshop installed again you can have mine and try em' out. I'll set a reminder on my phone to install it tonight...or maybe tomorrow since it's Friday

Sounds cool, let me know if you get it running.

I thought you didn't have internet?

It does have a feeling of endlessness and eternity. A great shot, it's both interesting as a black and white shot and with the feelings that one connects to it.

Thanks. Sometime I think that is the true measure of a shot's worth, in the technical measurables, and also in the emotional power held in that image.

I am glad you seem to like both in this image.

Ironic, but it does make a nice picture.
If I didn't know better, I would think it is cotton in water.

I can never think of good critiques, all your pictures are too good.
