Description Daniel Liebeskind memorial to the September 11th terrorist attacks in Padova, Italia, built in 2005.

Aparently Padova is one of the few cities in the world that lies exactly on the same latitude as NYC, so as a sister city they established this quite beautiful memorial to all of the Americans who lost their lives on 9-11 a couple years back. Daniel Liebeskind is a masterful architect, and I really enjoyed this installation of his.

Awesome mate. Can't really give any critique since most/all photographic technicalities are perfect here.

It almost looks like a pure Photoshop job, like digital art.

What made you decide on colour? I know how much you love BnW - speaking of which, how did each channel look?

Well, do like stripping the color out images, but in this case the green was very much a part of the monument itself, it was almost a sculpture of material and texture rather than form and space, as is the traditional architectural tradition.

Plus, I really just didn't do any edits at all to this one, it is pretty much exactly as it came out of the camera. I do like the similarities between this and digital art, the graphic qualities of the shot are what drew me to it in the first place.
