This made his co-workers envious of his success. One night he was working late when he was struck from behind by a falling sign. An investigation was launched into the incident and the perpatraitors were arrested for sabatauge and attempted murder. The restaurant never recovered from the incident and closed a couple months later. Takoyaki Man disappeared afterwards and was never seen again.
