Had to draw these two when I finally got comfortable with my mlp drawing style. I remember shipping these two when I was younger, I think they were one of my first ships. I've always been a sucker for the "rivals/lovers" trope.

I really like their original designs so I only changed minor things for my redesigns, I tried to incorporate more of their parents coloring. Like Dash having her fathers coat color as spotting in her coat. While Applejack having freckles/spotting that is her mother's coat color.

I also gave Dash some of her eye color (pink) into her mane, I feel like it ties the rainbow colors together. Then I made Rainbow Dash's hair more fluffy and shorter, and gave Applejack a braid instead of the low ponytail.
