The only thing I did to this is I scanned it (it was a photo beforehand), and played around with the file in Photoshop. I'm all for "well-presented works", as you know all too well by now 
Yeah, I don't make the picture grayscale - I adjust the colour balance in Photoshop so that it's not coloured, but not completely black-and-white either. Works out the best that way.
We should really post that tutorial thingy for our group members. If you don't have time/strength to do it now - no worries. Maybe I can start it off and you can add to it later?
