Description this is what the guy wants (same guy who had me do the chair)

"The first is a device I call the Scald. It's like an iron sphere that fits over the hand like a glove (padded and insulated on the inside). The sphere has holes in it that vent high-temperature steam outwards, supplied by several pipes which strap to the back of the arm, leading to a shoulder or upper-arm mounted boiler tank. Again, there's no need to draw it being worn by someone, the picture just needs to focus on the device."

this is what i got done so far. this can all change tho, because this is just a quick sketch. C&C welcome

Cool. Can it be used for mobile showers?

ARE YOU AN ENGINEER? This looks great! And, if you construct it, it can actually be USED! Basically, you could use PVC piping and an actual air tank to shoot water as the "steam", so it would come out like a mist since water condenses. This condensation of the water could give the illusion of "hot" steam.

Now, the mechanism will be complex, but if you study the mechanism of how paintball guns are used, you can apply its design to this arm, in which the "trigger" would be the hand that grips. I hope to see this actually be done! Perhaps you have some engineering friends that could help. GREAT WORK!

hehe, nah, i am not an engineer, and the feasibility of strapping a steam engine onto your arm is rather dubious, but sure with the methods you describe you certainly could make a non-functioning replica i suppose! i'll leave that up to somebody else

Non-functioning? HAH! I was actually serious. But I can't believe I recall this comment some time ago. But really, all you have to do is attack a pin to a trigger that releases the "condensed" water. But since your "hand" is in a ball that releases the steam, then you gonna have to encase your hand in some "trigger-housing" unit, which is then encased in that "ball" thingy that releases the steam. But those openings in that ball thingy will be linked by some "tubing" that connects straight to the "tanks" containing the "steam", or fluid that becomes the steam when depressurized. This depressurization is caused by SIMPLY pulling the trigger--thus we come back in full circle (^_O)

Now I know I sound like some annoying "idea-man", especially like those weird guys you meet in those "cons" and such. But really, I am just giving some insight. You an artist or an engineer? Or both? LOL!

You doing a lot of commissions now, huh? Hope you do well on all of them! It seems you're doing great so far! Nice detail. Looks pretty creepy

did he give you all the specks of what to draw?

seems like to me the wepon should be more focused one a spesfic target not forced out a 'ball'

That's an interesting device. So does it shoot out steam?? Or does it use the steam for power to hit something hard?? Or is it both? I must say this is quite a cool idea. All I know is you could take the arm to the ocean and steam up some good eats!! lol!!

Yis! It's so awesome!!
You really have some talent!!!
The only decent thing I really ever did machine-wise was a sketch of an alien air craft....but it's a piece of shit compared to any small doodle you do!
