Description
This is Natasha “Tasha” Hexington, mother to two of the most powerful beings on Earth, Dani and Lex Hex.

When Tasha was young, she had a bit of a rebellious streak and felt the need to be as different as possible, which often brought her into conflict with the people in her life. Initially, this rebellion manifested as an interest in metal music and the macabre, eventually leading her to explore the world of witchcraft. She would maintain an interest in the occult into adulthood and even into the military. When Tasha graduated high school, she enlisted in the US Army where she trained in sniping and special ops, leading to her becoming a highly capable combatant. When she finally left the military, she immediately set into the medical field, where she remains to this day.

When Tasha was 22, she became pregnant with her first child, her daughter Dani. Following the birth of Dani, Tasha began to delve once again into the arcane arts in order to protect her fledgling family. She would spend the next 6 years balancing being a single mother, a nurse and a witch, emerging a highly capable light sorceress, fluent in many forms of warding and summoning spells. This eventually lead to her selecting a familiar to accompany her on her journey, but not one you might expect. While refining her summoning skills, Tasha inadvertently conjured a monsterous creature known as a Dreadnautus. This creature would not attack her though, as she was the one who summoned it. This creature became her giant, terrifying familiar, and she would shroud it’s true nature by crafting a glamour charm that gives the Dreadnautus the appearance of a cat. This “cat”, which she named Frizzno, became the family’s companion.

Following this, Tasha hit a rough spot in life and was stuck in a relationship with a very cold man, the name of whom she’s never shared. From this man she gained another child, Lex. Following the birth of Lex, his father immediately left them, leaving Tasha to raise another child by herself. Growing up, young Lex showed the potential to be a great man. He was rather intelligent for his age and had nothing but love for all creatures of Earth. This culminated on a warm summer night, when Lex became bonded to the Hexamatrix. This was a challenge unlike any Tasha had faced before, but she did her utmost to train Lex in the use of this astounding new power. She would succeed in teaching Lex about the risks and responsibilities that come with his powers, shaping him into the hero he is today.

Unfortunately, things would reach a breaking point on the night Lex was taken over by Sin Eater. Seeing her child get shot and then brought back by a hell-bug put such a strain on her that she suffered a mental breakdown. During this breakdown, she beckoned to the universe for someone to help her protect her children, inadvertently summoning a daemon named Gretyloth the Culling who became bonded with her daughter Dani. Following these events, young Lex decided it was unsafe for him to remain at home, leading to him setting off on his character defining journey into the wilderness. Despite her concern for his safety, she’s agreed and sent him off with a small bag full of items to help him on his journey; a family photo, a divining crystal, a small pouch of herbs, a golden bell and a small spellbook containing many base level spells.

With Lex off on his own journey, Tasha would begin training Dani to become more attuned with her daemonic protector, leading to her becoming a hero herself, the mighty Demidemon. Dani stays fairly close to home, but does occasionally work with the other heroes of Earth becoming a founding member of an upcoming super group for Earth-6.

In recent times, Tasha lives a fairly leisurely life with her companion Frizzno, protecting her home, tending her gardens and keeping a watchful eye on her rambunctious children. She’s become known as the Witch of the Barrens, sought out for her healing capabilities and insight into the spirit world. She plays a very hands-off role, but gods help anyone who tries to hurt her family.
