I've browsed a lot of kaiju art work and I have to say your might be my favorite. I love your godzilla artwork. You bring so much newness, humanity, theoretically intriguing biology and science, and back story (like this) to an already iconic character.

So I'm guessing that if this takes place in the philippines then, if his mother is the remains found by Monarch. Eh, I feel like that's kind of a possibly unintended, unwarranted motivation for Godzilla. It should just be about the hunt and the fact that the two creatures are arch rivals, and the competition for the consumption of radioactive material. Kinda like it less that it's a revenge story. Don't try to give Godzilla too much humanity, he's still an animal. An intelligent one, but an animal nonetheless.

It's not a revenge story, it's taught behavior. It was still absolutely about the hunt.
This might be called "memories," but he only very faintly remembers any of this. Very, VERY faintly. It's only so clear for the purpose of making a comic of it, you know? Otherwise there would be no substance.
Also, this is more her teaching him how to pull a Kiss of Death. It was supposed to just be implied, what with the gif and the first panel of the comic, but since nobody seems to be putting it together I may as well say so.
And believe me, I'm not humanizing him. I used to have him anthropomorphized to a cringeworthy degree (back in the early months of the blog) but my portrayal has since improved dramatically and now I feel totally confident with it, to be honest. I try to make it very clear in the way he "speaks" and how he interacts that he has completely different thought processes.
Thank you for the feedback! It really makes my day when people take the time to write out long responses to these. It shows that they're not just getting once-over glances, which is nice because I really do put a lot of time and effort into them.

Yeah, I like that kinda response too cause just saying something you worked on is cool, it doesn't give a lot of context about their full opinion. Sure, I do that most of the time too, but I don't want every single one of my comments to be long-winded speeches. In the end, some people might see that as dishonesty.
