probably not the most inspired Pokemon ever, but it has the same BST as Dragonair, so respect the hawk!

Skyawk, due to the rarity of their pre evolves, are quite rare themselves (only about 30% of a Pokemon species population evolves in the wild at a time) but can be seen in large masses during their migration, where they all gather together, in a Kettle, to head south. Unlike their pre evolves, Skyalks take mostly small mammalian Pokemon, Especially electric rodent Pokemon. they seem to be resistant naturally to electric moves, and can even use a few themselves. (this does not apply in domestic pokemon battles however) the term "Thunderbird" is often mistakenly applied to them, even though the Thunderbirds of legend resemble Zapdos or Tropicodon. to kill prey, they will hold on with their claws, and use their wings to balance on top, crushing the prey's chest cavity. they keep their heads back to protect their eyes, which are even sharper than Recoln's.

Skyawks aren't nearly as fast as Recolns (their BS for speed goes down upon evolution) and use more of an ambush technique to capture prey. their wings are also proportionally shorter and rounder than Recolns, perfect for their woodland habitat. They live in forests at high elevations, often in colder climates.
