I haven't drawn for a mawile now (lol), I learned a few new tricks with SAI. As you can see the good line details that this cute little pretty Mawile has, and see how the background is drawn. So yeah I used the curve line tool to trace my line art, and also the water colors in the background were quite difficult to use a bit(it still is difficult to know how to use em), and the grass that you see is done with the brush tool. I worked hard on this Mawile for like 4 hours I think. I want to learn how other artists get very good shading with the water colors. Videos helped a bit. Well I don't know when I'll draw again, but mostly on weekends I could draw, this is the first time I drew a pretty Mawile and also feel like this pokemon looks very perfectly done with details(except the feet, lol I have a weird feeling of them).
