Description
Here is a portrait I made for my dear friend Laura of her mother. My last art to finish in 2016! This is done in Prismacolor Premium colored pencils. I will also post a version where I added a filter to the scan.Here is my reference:

Ohhh dear Jon!!! This is SUCH a sweet gift for Laura!!! I've seen her reaction and I can see how HAPPY you made her with this BEAUTIFUL portrait of her beloved Mom!!! The way you painted my mom, wow, just looks like you met her in person, god I'm so happy Jon!!! my grandmother had the original photo and my grandma died in 1999 so I have not see that photo again, I only have a color photocopy. I have always loved this picture, I don't know why but I love it.
what you did has no price, believe me this is the most beautiful gift I have received Jon I'd like to hug you so strong!!
