Description Just as Gwen Stefani sings, the Harajuku area in Tokyo is a "subculture in a kaleidoscope of fashion". Spell-binding costumes, carefully selected and faithfully lugged in a suitcase to the bridge outside Meiji Shrine every Sunday. A quick change in the locker rooms and a Gothic Lolita, an Alice in Wonderland, a Ninja collectively emerge to lap up the public attention for a day.

By day's end, they neatly pack up, sweep the ground, and disappear into the faceless crowds of the metropolis where uniformity reigns.

I agree! I want to get my hands on the Canon 24-105mm before I hit the streets again.

Will definitely look into the book-- thanks for the tip!
