Do you use digital slr? Or black and white film? How do you make ur photos black and white? And why do you choose this media?

This last set was all done with black and white film, I posted up the stuff I used below each description. I choose film because I believe that black and white is best captured using analog media rather than digital. While digital has gotten to have really damn good conversions from color to film (see Adobe Lightroom), there's nothing like the classic look of film. Film, just like painting and sculpture, can be considered a traditional medium, making me a traditional artist. Also, it's the best full frame sensor there is out there!

Ahh thanks! I saw ur gallery and noticed that you take lots of pictures of people and strangers, what do you do when taking pictures of people and what are usually their reactions to you doing this? Do people normally care that a stranger is taking their picture?

I very rarely am ever confronted and when I am I just blather on about how I like shooting and documenting life.
So long as you don't have a "ninja with a camera" mentality reactions won't generally be hostile. What I mean is, if it looks to someone like you're "sneaking" a photo of them, then they will react like you are sneaking a photo of them.

Yah that makes alot of sense! I really would like to get into taking more pictures of people! I have seen so many great pictures of people, you can get sooo much emotion captured in it.
If you dont mind me asking, what do you think of my current photography? I noticed you have quite a bit of experience, I am always interested in getting more help with getting better photography! I love it! haha
