i did it all in photoshop.

vector in photoshop, this is madness
use illustrator or inkscape
photoshop is the longest way possible x.x

I just finished my second vector which is rarity [link]
time of completion a bit less than 2 active hours, I set 3 in the description because that counting from the clock with all the breaks x)

thing is, I do all vectors by hand, i dont use any images from the shows.
like how people use the images from the show and clean it up.
I just do it on my own.
I am also going to reveal my new MLP OC Strawberry Surprise.
just gotta get the colors correct.
But I hope to be able to do vectors soon xD

Oh I do OC as well, and I did both vector by hand, there was no "pic to vector" based manipulation.
Though yeah, those are my entries for a group that seem to be super busy anyway.
I have one more character i would like to do then i will resume to my own style.
Also can't wait to see Strawberry Surprise

oh thank you so much! i love her design, but her hair...THAT HAIR... soooo long and a pain to draw xD
its worth it in the end....but the process getting to the end is anything but pleasant xD

It honestly doesn't seem that hard. when I first drew Rarity I thought HER hair was going to be a pain in the butt but it wasn't. And Clarity's hair IS long but it doesn't look all that hard. I guess I'd just have to draw it to know for sure though xD

Clarity has a ton of curls. her tail is longer than her mane. its like....dreadfully long xD
thats why i think it would be a pain in the butt to wake up and brush out. So i am tempted to give her a hair cut in the far future. But it works with her personality and her background.
and it also works with her power and cutie mark. So I dont think I will cut it anytime soon xD
but yeah.
