When I see human beings showing kindness and compassion toward one another...

Makes me happy!!

This was taken during a protest in Portland, Oregon regarding the Grand Jury's decision not to indict a White police officer from Ferguson, Missouri in the death of a young Black man. This caused much unrest in numerous cities and tensions between the police and communities which strained racial relations.

That being said, I will ONLY COMMENT on the the positiveness of this great shot! It's very hurtful to see the horrors that Humans can do to one another. Feeling both the compassion and hurt captured in this picture.... It is not just a cop giving a hug... but a man who is a father, seeing an upset child (with a Free Hug sign) and asking him for a hug!

Please Do Not Post Any Negative Comments regarding this huge topic. I will Not Debate anything regarding the Grand Jury decision, or the situation which lead up to it! There is too much UGLY in the world... and moments like these need to be embraced!
