Title came from misspelling Alice as the save file, and it kinda worked so yeah!I wanted to draw ruffles. All I wanted was to draw lotsa ruffles.

This is so striking,in color an in mood. (it doesn't hurt than my favorite color is pink lol) I like the line the sword makes for the composition. It really ties in the full shape of the skirt of her gown.

Thank you so much! This is very pink haha. Glad you like the sword, I was trying to make the triangle composition..thinger... Cant remember the proper term. But when in doubt composition wise, triangle!

As far as the sketch goes, you've done a wonderful job with the flow of the fabric and hair. I like how it looks like there's a soft breeze in the backdrop. The expression on her face is also vivid - she seems strong, but like she's suffering at the same time. Her hand holding the skull looks fine, though perhaps go back and check over the arm holding the sword - the forearm/wrist area needs a little bit more contour, but that's really the only thing that I see. That area tends to be troublesome for me, so I usually have to ref it
The cool tones in the coloring are really nice as well, and I like how her dress gradually becomes darker until the hem, where it's stained with blood. Really adds nicely to the concept you have going on.
This character seems really interesting; is Alice an OC of yours? I'd be curious to see what else she's in, if so

Im glad you like/noticed all the little things, it makes them all feel worth while. Wrists and really hands in general are the bane of my existence. I went out and bought a hand model after making this (woohoo coupons!) so hopefully Ill be able to fix that in the future!
Ahhh! Im glad you noticed that! Most people miss the bloodied hem, and just think its an ombre dress! thats so wonderful to hear!

Yeah, hand models are good, and I like to take pictures of my hands when I need a really specific pose or angle. I even get my hubs to forcibly volunteer when I need to XD But yeah, the bloodied hem was a really big draw for my eye. I also take a lot of time to observe art because I hate missing out on the really cool details; it's fun to look for the parts that the artist put a lot of time and effort into.

I went out and bought one after you suggested that. Hahaha, maybe I should find a nice hand model hubby as well! Very true, its a shame so many people miss those often, they can really make the picture!
