I fully blame this on Donutsarelife XD I can see this happening after Magnolia agree's to help Clyde track down Cheshire where sparks fly between the two along the way. I can see this after they've started dating or Clyde kinda realizes he likes Magnolia (because I don't see Clyde calling any one Darling unless he liked them). Guess who has a thing for pet names and country accents?

They really are XD Clyde would be flabbergasted but after a few talks with his father (Usually about his mother) he knows even the most classy of ladies can be perverted (I feel like w=Walker is blunt but has scared his son). He still turns bright green and tongue twisted at even the tamest of jokes lol
I can see Ringo trying out a string of nicknames hoping to get the same reaction but Selene has heard them all and will just give her a blank stare XD

The only thing that would make Selene swoon is a song or an act of sincerity X'D Selene is heavy into romance but given that she's had a string of crash and burn relationships (Sheri, Comet etc.) she's pretty much burnt out, so something big and flashy out of the blue like from '10 things I hate about you' when he sings while she's doing PE is probably something that while dumb, Selene would melt completely and utterly.Β
I see Magnolia being a really affectionate girlfriend too so the blushes just continue X'D Magnolia would probably enjoy talking to Walker since he reminds her of her aunt Te Aroha X'DΒ

Oh gosh. Ringo has the singing voice of a dying racoon so they'd probably create a drum solo just for Selene, Not exactly what she'd expect but it comes from the heart. Ringo also has a long string of bad relationships (Vera is one of them) so they understand.
I see Walker liking Magnolia because she helps his son open up and makes him laugh (it's harder than you'd expect.)

Spectra is a very territorial woman so Magnolia better watch her back. Walker thinks his wife is just being protective of their son and Clyde likes the extra food they make (or Bertram makes , I don't see Spectra cooking. She will take credit though)
Ringo might switch to giving Selene flowers and writing poetry (their pretty good at slam poetry)

Selene and Ringo have cool outer layers and are both scared babies on the inside so fits and they're cute X'D Selene would appreciate the efforts tho, cause unlike past instances Ringo isn't insistent or pestering. (Sheri wasn't pestering, just absent)Β Β
And lol Spectra X'D I love how much she dislikes her daughter in law and the battle that continues, the day that Clyde brings up becoming serious with Magnolia Spectra would scream into the ghost zone X'DΒ

Ringo knows from personal experience that being overly persistent never works (They had one very attached ex) They also know that things worth working for are better.
Poor Bertram had to hear about it for weeks (since both Ember and Kitty think she's okay. Especially since Magnolia defend's Cheshire)

I even see Betram liking Magnolia which is the annoyed icing on Spectra's grumpy cake!Β
I also had a scenario of when they're a lil older and Selene's music career takes off and she becomes a well performing cabaret singer, and she sings 'why don't you do right' to Ringo X'DΒ
That or during the monster prom she's asked to perform (cause she's a siren X'D) and she sings a tasteful but coy version of the song (I even see her having the same hairstyle in a body-con mermain dress with glittering scale patterns.)Β

Walker tends to calm her down though (and chuckle about his wife's frustration)
Ringo's heart would stop and I can see them going into classic cartoon love struck mode (eyes popping out of their head) Though they'd try to play it off until they were alone (poor Ringo even as adults they'd have a heart attack over how pretty Selene is XD)
Ringo would break their drum sticks at the sight not gonna lie lol

Selene and Ringo are cute ngl and I see Selene giggling when she hears what happened to the drumsticks from her cousin Magnolia (who was probably watching since she knows what's going on with Selene and Magnolia, she's also a teacher/ chaperone so she'd enjoy messing with Ringo as the anonymous random witch *cause I don't think Ringo would know Magnolia and Selene's family connection, only that Magnolia is her vice-teacher.)Β
