I'm still half tired, but ye, she never wanted to become one of those who killed her. After years of being scared of and threats from the older spirits, she stopped letting their words hurt her. More will be coming in a future artwork, since I started really getting into The Greatest Showman and one of the songs is actually very close to what she thinks.
