Junji Ito is a great study for nightmarish imagery. You did a great job with the Nuckelavee here; it is such an excellent Grimm in its components and presentation.

Thank you! Yeah I feel the creatures of Grimm shouldn't be so neglected because some of them still have rather interesting designs and potential to become more nightmare fuel-ish since their appearance in the official show is rather tame and to me the horror comes only from the way the Nuckelavee moved and its sound effects (perhaps they are aware of younger audiences?). So I wanted to draw Grimm as they are supposed to be, from the intended idea that they're really creatures of horror and destruction.

Same here, I feel the Grimm are very underappreciated, a Grimm I really think they could make pretty gross and horrifying if they wanted to are the creeps, the fact that they were specifically designed to show that some grimm don't have an animal equivalent gives them plenty of freedom to have fun with their redesign
