Thursday after Christmas, we had a lot of snow.... the good and sticky stuff!
So I set out to build a snowman. Strife suggested that I made my persona, so I did that - while Strife helped me collect snow for the details and stuff.
The eyes are made out of wood, so that they wouldn't get soggy or eaten xD
Unfortunately we never got to finish the bottom part, because it stated thawing the next day T___T
But hey... it was fun. My first snow sculpture... of sorts ^____^

I used to make snow sculptures at school...
Then the other kids would either ruin it, or try to "help" me with it. >.>

Ha, that's fantastic! xD You did a beautiful job on the face; I remember trying to smooth out snow into some sort of recognizable shape and having it fall apart in my hands. The whiskers are awesome, too. x3

I've never been anywhere that had enough snow to make a sculpture that large; most snow I've had experience with was slushy, or sparse. We did recently have a frost though, which turned everything a beautiful frozen white. :3

Trust me, you get warmed up pretty good just by rolling the three main balls for the main figure. That exercize should keep you warm for the details for quite a while... I had to take off my gloves at some point, because I was getting so hot xD

My mother and my relatives were really impressed by our sculpture. Mother took a picture of us standing next to the Snow Leo, and she said that she would try and get the photo into the local newspaper. That would be really cool!
