I wanted to draw Lapras for a Water Type contest, So I went on Bulbipedia for a ref and read several pokedex entries on how they've been hunted to near extinction, and I thought of this very sad picture. As you can see she's been caught by a fisherman and cruelly dragged ashore...I'll leave the rest to your imagination.I tried really hard to capture the Lapras' emotion in this, so did I succeed?

The tear was one of the first things I added in the sketch, I never thought to remove it and now it's too late XD and thank you

It DOES say in the pokedex entries that Lapras can understand human speech so I would figure it can have emotions if it can understand speech. Just sayin'

Well in the Pokemon world i'd lend a good bet that the planet isn't earth, humans came to the planet seeing the interesting life and the uses of them and harvested some for whatever purposes. And that the Pokemon were developing into, or have developed in some cases, into sentient beings

I don't think there was one specifically, obviously the legendary Pokemon were guardians over the planet. I would say they were the Most sentient beings.
