I don't like snow. No matter what the weather I'm still expected at work and snow only makes it harder to get there and home again.

Maybe its because I don't drive or lived in yorkshire and learned to walk in snow. It doesn't slow me down much. That said, the trains and buses can be a bit fractious in the snow

Where I live busses take detours in snow and I have to walk across acrtic wastes to get basic transportation. Last winter a record snow knocked out power for us and thousands of others for 6 days, during which we couldn't bathe or cook and freezing to death felt like a reality. I wasn't too fond of it. I'm glad you can enjoy it, especially since I'm sure you get more of it over there. For my part I prefer moderate conditions.

Yikes! 6 days without power is bad. We have gas-bottle cooker and keep our coal fire in good working order for such emergencies but rarely need them more than a couple of days a year.

Beautiful. Simply beautiful. Reminds me of black holes and sand storms and Cthulhu and Hunter S. Thompson, for some reason..... Wow, this one just has me hyper-associating. Coming back to reply, I started hyper associating once again! Prometheus was the most prominent one. Both the Ridley Scott film and the myth have meaning here, for me at least.

Oh, there's color in there it's just subtle. There are reds and greens and some traces of blue. You can't expect a pride rainbow every time

I noticed the reds. Greens have a habit of contributing to the umber look. Blues will cause more of a temperature shift. Pride rainbow
