Oh this one! This one is kind of an oddity since I made the picture mostly to go with the border

Maybe that is apparent to you but not to me. I like the pic, I did not notice the frame.

I've been wondering for a while how you see this combination of hot men with conveniently-nothing-to-wear and the family friendly serial adventure motifs. Come to think of it though, as I look at this warrior in a loin cloth, they may not be natural enemies after all. Nudity isn't that far off from a sword-and-sandal hero in nothing but a loin-cloth. All it would take is one fumble, and that thing would be gone. So I should almost be expecting it in everything else, and not be wondering why it's in these pictures.

Ah, glad you asked! Believe it or not, I got started on the "nude adventure" motif by none other than Edgar Rice Burroughs, the master or adventure His stories have been adapted to many a G-rated and PG-rated viewing experience, and his original texts were enjoyed by kids of all ages (since there really wasn't anything that "adult" in them)... however in many of them, especially the Barsoom series, the hero hasn't got a stitch on John Carter fights his way from pole to pole on Mars, wearing only a leather harness to support his weapons, but conspicuously wears no pants/shorts/loincloth So I decided all my adventure guys went to the same fashion school
Hehe you're right, he and the loincloth axe-guy might end up as best buddies

The savage world of Mars is akin to the land in Conan. Full of mostly nude heroes.

What I love the best...only not sure I can describe this well (and never briefly, ever! ), but it appears you've blended some realism with an aspect of comic book (particularly leothefox style), along with a sort of surrealism that doesn't really fit the typical definition (yes, I actually said that dumb thing!), and yes! maybe a cool dash of Roger Dean (which is very groovy; loved his work on Yes' album covers and elsewhere), and then you've chosen some very evocative (for me) colours--and the outcome, again just for me, is that I could easily envision another world looking like this--like a REAL world. Another planet where the skies aren't quite the same blue as we have, and the grasses/veggies aren't just greens, yellows or browns--but have subtle shades of mauves, purples and rust... All of which is it bit spooky as I was recently describing something like this for someone else. (I know EP wanders in and out of my head at will; I think she's bribed all the sentinels within! Should I give them a heads up about a stealthy fox, too? ) Kidding, of course! But yes, this could be real. Did that ever even cross your mind? --Oh, and I guess you use a tablet of some kind? If you could have your dream tablet, mind to share what that would be? Totally serious question.

For some damn reason this makes me think of "Wheat Stacks with Reaper" by Van Gogh... I know that's really specific, but it fits, somehow.
The backgrounds and characters flow so goddamn well... even though the styling seems so vastly different... it meshes so goddamn well.... this may go into my "absolute Leo favourites" seriously, so aesthetically pleasing. Great work, Leo.

Yep, that's California. It looks just like this inland from the coast near Lompoc, north of Santa Barbara. Lovely composition. But an axe against a ray gun? I see failure ahead. LOL

Cali is so lovely around there! Thank you very much, buddy! Hehe well, you've seen the movies where the guy fires the raygun and the other guy either deflects it with his axe or chucks it at the other fella too fast
