Description
The first of a series of three commissions for *curran , this one suffered more than any other from a 1.5 year bout of depression I suffered between '05 and '06. I must have gone through a forest worth of paper on rough drafts alone before I settled on this final design. However, thank Christ, it's all done.

Thanks to Mrs. Wheeler, =mosskat 's mum, for helping me with picking the background colours. I think I picked up on a few things from her so my next background colour decision should flow a lot easier.

*curran wanted Grace and Kayin in a romantic setting, which I tried to portray here, and I must have annoyed him to death with my repetitive questions about Grace's favourite colour (for the life of me, I couldn't remember if it was pink or red). I chose the white Calla lillies in the bouquet for a reason, but I can't remember what they mean in the Language of Flowers. It was something nice and romantic though. That much I can remember. I hope he likes it! Considering that I already sealed it in an envelope, it would be too late to change anything.

Materials: Bristol board, Prismacolor coloured pencils, Sakura Pigma Micron pens, drawing pencils.
