Description First digital painting of the year.

Zindy's forum is hosting a Winter Contest so I might submit this piece, not sure if it's good enough.

I tried to incorporate both a background as well as a portrait, instead of just focusing on one or the other. It's not as detailed as it could be, but I wasn't going for photorealism anyway.
Painting the sky was the most fun I forgot the snow when I uploaded it to Facebook but oh well Fixed it for here!

A few random references were used, most just glances at quickly googled images and stuff.

Photoshop Cs3, Wacom Tablet, 9 hours.

It has such an old-timey nostalgic look to it. I think it's really amazing that this is entirely digital.
