Pumyra was a pretty great character, I'll say that much! In addition to looking like an awesome comic book character, she was a historian and (if memory serves) knowledgeable in the healing arts as well.

I agree. She's a great character, but she was underused to the point of absurdity. She had only one story that showcased her, "Mumm-Rana's Belt", and the rest of the time she was reduced to either a supporting player or a mere cameo appearance before she was written out of the series. Heck, she was shown performing her healing skills only once! Not fair, I say.
Also, I don't think she was a historian. It was mostly Lynx-O who had a fair stock of Thundera's history under his belt, as he was the eldest of the surviving Cats.

Ah yeah, Lynx-o...I thought I had read somewhere she was a historian, but I guess you can't believe everything you read.
Yeah, now that you come to mention it, she was hardly ever in ANYTHING! I remember Lynx-o had a very prominent role, and Bengali was huge in repairing the Sword of Omens, etc...but Pumyra just kind of got tossed by the wayside. How sad.

Bengali was the Sword's repairman until that Charr character showed up in his flying furnace. And so job outsourcing came to New Thundera. Robbery!
