*Goddess-Chachi 's characters from her nuzlocke comic: protagonist Crystal and her friend Ethan-this was supposed to be Friendzoneshipping. The theme for contest was Shippings from this nuzlocke and all ideas which came to my mind (and there were a lot of them I had kind of hard time to coming up with "the right one") included this two so...

What is showed on this picture? Well, Crystal had a birthday and Ethan wanted to surprise her so he invited her on a picnic and he gifted Crystal with the chikorita plushie which he made by himself. Hey, he's always in that New Bark town and he needs something to keep him busy so I thought: "Why couldn't he know how to saw?" Actually, I drew this pokemon plushie because I'm somehow hoping that I'll get into one of places where plushie is given ^^ Also, that "Special CSSN" posters (featuring never-before-seen, future characters/designs!) with Chachi's autograph sounds nice too . I guess this isn't for the first place, so I have my fingers crossed that this will be good enough for one of three Honorable Mentions that will be proclared.

This took me hours and hours of work. I wanted to go slowly with this, I worked on this maybe one-one and a half hour every day because more of that would result in destroying everything. I wanted to use this for background practice. God knows that now a huge period of time needs to pass before I decide to draw backgrounds again. I'll draw backgrounds again when I get tablet. Drawing with the mouse is too slow and my nerves are too thin for that.
And I'm not fully satisfied with how this turned out. Something is not right, but I can't figure out what @.@ Despite this I wanted to try my chances in this contest. In this few days that are left to the deadline I wouldn't be able to draw something like this again not even if someone payed me.
Oh, that behind them are supposed to be rocks. Maybe some of you with bigger imagination were able to comprehend that

I'll probably find some mistakes as time goes by so this piece of ... huh, how to call this , will probably be edited few times before actual deadline.

P.S. Good news for you, my nuzlocke readers who (from some totally unclear reason to me) wanted to see this picture. Next update will be in a few days. After I saw libretto for this part I realized that it would be way too long beyond DA allowed submissions sizes so I've cut part 11 to three sub parts. ^^ And I've acquired Manga studio so from now one this part which is edited on computer should look nicer (at least it does in my head )

P.P.S. THAT IS NOT A DEAD CHIKORITA: IT'S A PLUSHIE!
