Hello everyone! o/ Eh no, I'm not dead yet! xD It's been a while! I though it was more than time to put some life in that dead galery as I did many new drawings since my last one submitted here. (Je m'excuse d'avance auprès des BBADiennes que je vais harceler avec des notifications de dessins qu'elle connaissent déjà depuis un bail...!)

Let's start with all of my big cats OCS! Recently, I had wanted to draw all my -animals- characters, the new AND the old ones together. As there's a lot of them, I decided to dedicate them one drawing by specie. I started with the cats 'cause they are much less numerous than the canines. So here they are! All my feline buddies. There is not much diversity of races since they're all lions with just one Saber-Tooth. Those who know me from BBA-D or other roleplay forum will recognise some of them, but there's at least two of them that are in my mind since a long time but I never show them before.

Rama is the oldest and the one I am most attached. (The adult lion in the middle) I played him on many roleplay forums, thus he belong to different worlds and had several different stories! (Mostly in the Blackblood Alliance universe but also in The Lion King) His design didn't change much, I just gave him back all his scars, his blind eye and his strange pattern on the back. I'm finaly satisfied with the mane, it will stay that way!
Rama is someone loyal, honest and trustworthy. He's my most "chivalrous" and straight character. It is basically good, wise and brave.
I can not ignore the different stories he had on some forums and it happens that he never had any luck and collected tragic stories... It's now part of the character.
So he has a melancholy side and behind his many moral virtues, it can show a much darker and shadowy face in certain situations. He knows hate and anger very well.

Kasha is the only one that I'm still playing on a roleplay forum. (The black Saber-tooth, at right) I firstly design her to be a black panther, but some I transformed her as a Smilodon. The black pelt stayed... Kasha only belong to the BlackBlood Alliance universe. (More precisely The BlackBlood Alliance : Dissension) She's a spy/assassin from the Stoneclaw clan. Her design didn't change much, I just lighten her coat a little 'cause she was too dark for some of my friends's computers xD
Kasha is cold, almost frigid, cynical and desperately austere. She never laughs and rarely gives off. She is a fierce fighter and only judge others on their fighting ability. Yet, even if she's grumpy and as amiable as a badger, she is loyal, intelligent, trustworthy and ... Tolerant. No matter who you are, as long as you know how to defend yourself. She knows better than anyone that the world is harsh and unforgiving. For her, only the strongest and the smartest deserve to live.

Sayari is a soft and kind hearted lioness. (The smiling lioness next to Rama) I created her to be played on a TLK forum (Lion King Past) where the story take place during the reign of king Ahadi and queen Uru (Mufasa and Scar's parents). I didn't played her long but the character itself stayed. Although his character does not stand out for its originality and isn't very deep, I like her anyway.
She is simple, peaceful and pleasant. She's a loving mother, a devoted and loyal pride sister, kindhearted and realy wise.
But she's far from being a window dressing! She know how to be heard when it's needed. She can be stubborn and obstinate, she's a free lady!

Khodi whose real name 'Khodiak' is not quite a cub, but not yet a teenager either. (The young one on Rama's back) It's clear that he's from Rama's blood, but he's not his son (At least in the main version of the story! He's Rama's grandson) Created again for the french BBA forum, I never played him but as Sayari, I kept him because I was attached to him! Doesn't he looks like a surfer with his blond and unruly mane ?! I just changed his colors but for the rest, he's the same.
Khodi is full of life, enthusiastic and optimistic against wind blast. This is a 'cool' young lion living in the present moment and will tends to be later a rather indolent and peaceful young adult. (He's a hippie!) He is so clumsy and so repulsed by the violence that he is unable to hunt. He's rather incompetent but anyone can stay angry with him very long!

Kalessi 'the wise' is an old a mysterious lioness. (She's the one who lay down) She's a recent character but deeper than the other because I just love her! I like to spend time daydreaming about her story. She belongs to the Lion King univers. An Outlander lady for sure! She's a kind of shaman, like Kou (see below), but in a different way. Outlanders's life being rude, death as very important place in their spiritual universe. She a "Ossmantienne" (There's no such word in english...) it means that she reads in the bones, give predictions with some... Dead things and stuff. (Some can read in tea leaves, Kalessi read in the blood and viscera! xD)
She's also a very talented healer as Rafiki, Kou and all those "pridelanders" shamans. But although she has an important role in the clan, his rank is very low. She's an "untouchable", she eats last, cannot have a mate, sleep away, ect ... Anyway I'll give more informations about this character in the reference sheet I'll make later.
Kalessi taciture lioness, marked by life, serious, enigmatic and withdrawn. No one knows much about her...

Kou is the wandering young shaman. (The last one, at left) This buddy also belongs to the Link King universe. He's a rogue and make his own way, kingdoms's troubles aren't his concern. He was a lost and amnesic cub, without past or futur, until an old mandrill shaman take him and raise him as a son. Initiated to the shamanic arts by the mandrill, He travels a time across the savannah with his old master perched on his back as he was too old and tired to move alone. When the old mandrill dies, Kou became shaman too.
Kou is a surprising young lion, original and unpredictable in its responses. Having been raised by a mandrill, without any contact with lions, his behavior seems really strange. He act well ... Like a monkey! He often speaks in riddle like them and spend a lot of time perched in trees. This is also in the trees where he finds his food, especially birds, eggs and insects, as he never learned to hunt ...
