This doe has been hanging around all summer and I have just started to put some apples out for her and the other deer that will show up in the weeks to come. Last year I had 2 ten point bucks fighting over the does in mating season and I'm hoping they will be back again.Related content

Nice shot. If you would like to make the apples easier for the deer to eat, cut then in half. Deer have no upper front teeth so taking a bite out of a whole apple can be a bit hard for them.... Not that they dont manage to enjoy apply goodness regardless.
