Update: Annabelle is retired from the Domain as of 11/14/16. She has left in search of a more fulfilling life; she feels she needs to find herself, and has decided that Vektren is not the place for her.

Gender: female

Height: below average young adult height (29” adult)

Weight: below average young adult weight (55 lbs adult)

Build: The runt of the litter- both short and skinny. Not strong. Her coat is fairly thin, except for a lot of fluff on her chest, head, and face, which only serves to accentuate how small she is. Overall she is an awkward-looking, angular wolf.

Personality:
Dominant/Verbally Aggressive Annabelle inherited the classic inferiority complex of the runt: a wolf with a very dominant personality, but no muscle to back it up, she is verbally abusive and constantly argues with anyone she decides has it coming, or maybe is just looking at her wrong) trying to prove to herself and others that she’s not weak.

Cowardly As long as she knows they won't fight back, and if she's angry enough, Annabelle would occasionally physically attack others. But she would never do so if she didn't think she could win; she's afraid of a real fight.

Awkward/Stand-off-ish She doesn't really know how respond to love from her family or others, so she basically just gets angry at any show of affection. She doesn’t hate her family, but she doesn’t understand them. She’s plagued by a certainty that she is somehow different from them- especially her mother.

Discontented/Searching While unpleasant, Annabelle isn't evil. She harbors a deep resentment toward wolves who are content with their lives because she herself feels so inexplicably unsatisfied with hers, though she doesn’t recognize this resentment for what it is and thinks she just prefers the company of herself.

Arrogant Annabelle lives in the certainty that she is smarter and just overall better than most other wolves. This manifests itself in her conversations, where she will often make snide and condescending remarks.

Creepy She's not really aware of this, but other wolves have a tendency to find her creepy, as she often paces back and forth if she is having trouble keeping her cool, muttering to herself. Also, she will often glare at people for no apparent reason and then just walk away if confronted, and sometimes will even follow packmates around.
Quietly Violent/Grudge Holder She identifies a little more with her father, at least a part of whose innate need for violence she has inherited. As she grows, she will begin to fight less as she develops a pride in her ability to control herself- she will decide that no one will ever know how quick to anger she is, and while her expression and tone may give her away somewhat, she will usually never be anything but “polite.” From a very young age, she fantasizes about doing violence against her packmates in retaliation for their “wrongdoings,” but on the outside she will keep her cool.

Religious From a young age, she quickly developed strong religious inclinations. Vektren's dark religion became a "release" for her violent side, and this is something she relishes in. She will grow to be the kind of wolf that wishes she could force the religion on non-believers, and sometimes she will try. While she does believe in the existence of the Vektreni gods, as a young adult Annabelle is more about the "religion" of Vektren than the "spirituality." She performs the rituals out of deep habit, need, and fear, not out of true respect for the gods.

She'll develop more through RPs.

Other: Every once in a while she will have a violent reaction to some small slight, a by-product of the way she keeps all her anger bottled up. She likes thunderstorms because they are good cover. In the midst of a raging storm, no one will hear her if she goes out to scream and tear up the ground, tired of being polite and silently holding simmering grudges. After such a fit, she will be back to normal like nothing happened.

She often paces back and forth and occasionally, if she is having trouble keeping her cool, she will mutter to herself.

Pre-Group History: Annabelle was born the runt of Stallion and Raven’s litter into the pack of Vektren.
