- Being so young, Iris still often wears her emotions quite openly. Very often she hides her displeasure with laughter and jokes. Even the most serious wolves don't quel her spirit. In fact, it's the grumpy wolves that attract her so, wolves shouldn't be loners. They should enjoy the life that they have. Enjoying the gifts of being in a pack and surrounded by those that care.
- Though born and raised for a short time in a nonspiritual pack, Iris is quite open to the ways of Spirits and Gods. How can things happen without there not being a plan? There must be Greater Beings in charge of such threads of life. Even if her path has been dark for some time, she knows all things must happen for a reason. Believing in Vektren's Gods would be an easy task as she learns more about them. As she has grown older and as her dreams continue, her beliefs in Gods has only solidified.
- So young, Iris is loyal to only one. Hekate. No longer is she loyal to the family that treated her unkindly and like a bargaining chip. Her trust is fragile and hard to gain. Near impossible to gain back once broken. Unless she feels something is unjust, she will do anything for those she is most loyal to and trusting of.
- Still curious of the entire World around her. Always asking questions, she learns new things every day. Sometimes bad things, while others could help her out in the long run of her life. It even comes down to her visiting other fauna of the Forest and learning from other wildlife. Why should a wolf only learn from wolves? Why not from bears or badgers, even wolverines? A wide range of knowledge makes for a better wolf!
- Learning so much goes not in vain for Iris. She might be the fastest yet, but she can out wit most of the average wolves. Hiding in holes, covering her scent with mud. Creating new ways to hunt in the future or to even battle any enemy that gets in her way as she gets older.

- As a young pup, she is still ruled mostly by emotions. As she becomes older, she may have more control, but for now her emotions rule her mind. Anger or irritation often causes her lash out unexpectedly, causing her to become defensive. Any remarks about her past that others might've figured out causes her to become extremely defensive and cold.
- A more recent characteristic she's picked up in the short amount of time she's been around. Since the betrayal of the pack that was to be called friends, she has very little trust in any wolf. Besides Hekate, she trusts no wolf fully. To earn her trust, a wolf must work with her. Being so young, its strange how hard and uncertain she remains toward other wolves. Sometimes joyous and happy as a young pup, but deep down she knows not who and how she can trust others..
- Behind curious eyes, and the little joy she still holds, she can be short and testy. In some of her most mercurial moments, she has little patience for those who doubt her intentions within a pack or her intuition. Ignorance of a wolf not knowing and judging her causes her often to snap in retaliation.
- Since the loss of her memory, something new has emerged from within Iris. She is no longer the happy-go-lucky pup she once was. Now, she has become reserved and bitter. However, from time to time, her emotions might shift to what she is masking. Who knows how she could really be feeling now a day's.
Pre-Group History: Iris was born in a distant valley to the West, where two large packs often raged war with each other. One of Aurora's Peak and Crimson Valley. Born into her pack, the Aurora's Peak for the sole reason to unite the two packs together. For the war had ravaged their land and scared most of the prey away. Two bound together from each pack would solidify their alliance. However, the Alpha of Crimson Valley wanted both packs to himself and rule both the Peak and Valley. In the dead of one Spring night, the Crimson Valley pack attacked the wolves of the Peak, slaying the two Alpha's and the eldest of offspring. Keeping the youngest as a prize to keep the remains of the Aurora's Peak pack submissive and obedient.
Iris remembers little of that night or of her parents, for she's forced the memories to the deepest part of her mind. She spoke very little to the remains of her old pack and refused to speak to her captors. Very young, she could do nothing but accept what has happened. During the early summer, her "betrothed" was injured in a hunt he'd been watching and died weeks later. Feeling as though the wolves of the Peak would rise against him now that no alliance could be made, he claimed Iris as his next Alpha when she came of age. The wolves of her pack accepted this and eagerly prepared the young pup for being a future Alpha female.
Feeling betrayed by her pack she once thought was kin, she screamed at them for the cowardice and the sacrifice they were forcing upon her. Fleeing now, she knew it was the only way to escape her future of reining beside the tyrant that murdered her family.. Running for many days and months, she's found herself at the edge of unknown territory...
3 M O N T H S A G O . . .
An entire season ago, Iris vanished from Vektren. A story wove that she had gone mad with premonitions from the Gods and fell into the Earth. Her entire pack and her Mother believed this story told by Janus. In fact, it was Janus that caused of her disappearance. In a jealous rage Janus attacked Iris because not only was he jealous of her dreams given to her by the Gods, but by how Iris perceived the situation. He thought she knew of a secret that could get him ostracized from the Pack and from Hekate's good graces. Giving chase into the mountains an underground cavern opened and swallowed Iris, leaving Janus to re-event her death.
Iris was in a coma for a week before she woke once more. But, she was not alone. A small cave-dwelling pack of nomadic wolves had been traveling through the mountain caverns when the hole dropped Iris. The wolves were kind and took her in. Healing her wounds, they gave her a home. No matter how hard she tried, Iris could not feel as though she belonged. She always felt as though something were missing. Knowing that no answers lied with this small pack, she traveled far to return back to where she thought she came from. It felt right, and by listening to her instincts she returned to Vektren. But only with her name, and instinct and no memories of her previous life . . .

No problem :3 Well, she is beautiful nonetheless! She has definitely made it to one of my top favorite DotW character designs. I will be entering an Application for a character myself ^_^ I need to draw him still. I know he will be in Vektren. Perhaps when the group opens up and he isn't dormant, he can meet the tiny Iris.
