Description
This is one of my dad's doodles. I take after him with this obsession, I guess.
Here is what he said on the subject in his blog:This is the doodle that I was feverishly working on during a continuing education class at a Holiday Inn in Arlington. Out of respect for the teacher and the rest of the class I discreetly put it away and turned to the appropriate page in the course material and started staring at the instructor's face. I tried to pay attention and take notes but was compelled to outline the main ideas on the page with a large cloud shaped border of broad patterns: alternating paisley, checkerboards and radiants.

hmmm, your dad's designs seemed more polished and refined than yours, not saying yours isnt insanely awesome. your designes are more youthful and uncontrolled, his are more profound and geometrical

That's a very good insight actually... I think that's exactly how I feel about my dad's and my designs. Art reflects maturity, I suppose. It sounds obvious, but how interesting!

Crazy how both of you seem to have the same style. And the same lack of interest in whatever your teacher is saying, no matter how interesting it may be to other people.

dude, ms fulkerson's hair has grown out SOOOO long, man. It's down to her shoulders! xD But it looks nice. Just a little different is all.
I always hated how ms mcdaniels' eyes were out of focus, so you couldn't tell if she was talking to you are not. I think it's good I didn't pay constant attention to her face while she talked. That lazy eye would've distracted the hell out of me.
Hey-- what weekend are you going to be here? My family all has to go to Austin the week of the 12th. ;_; I don't want to miss seeing you!
