I usually make a braid on each end: [link]
You can also use a button: [link]
I used snap fasteners for this one [link] I cut off the threads on both ends, put a super glue on the ends and sewed the fasteners.

Thank you! I sell them at one Czech website, but I don't think I'm interested in selling them somewhere else. The fees in international sale are probably high and it would bring me more work than pleasure. But thanks for your concern

The pattern for the Deathly hallows one I found on the internet, there are several sites and forums with patterns. You don't need a pattern for the Gryffindor one. I googled Harry Potter logo for the HP one. And the OMR one - I wrote the sign in Word and turned it into picture pressing print screen.
