Soooooooo.My bestie has her birthday today, and she's holdinh her b-day party tomorrow, and look at the surprise gift I'm giving her
She's been pleading me the past year to draw one of her favorite characters.
I kept it until now to make her something super nice
Takasugi is definitely her most favorite character. He is the main villain in Gintama and she simply worships him
Try to ignore the shitty black japanese letters on top left. I tried to write down his Japanese name as it would be written in Edo period and it didn't turn out that well.
Generally, I'm not a brush fellow, and I really cannot draw with watercolors, but at least I tried, and I hope she likes it.

REALLY loved the japanese style of this piece... It really can pass as an ancient japanese piece, but actually good! (just kidding, I like those ancient japanese art, even if they are a little weird xD)

It's cool to know that just a movie can show you how awesome a villain is... Some anime try to make their villains look badass for hundreds of episodes and still fail xD
But I really recommend watching Gintama... Like, the whole series. You'll laugh A LOT, and cry A LOT... At first it seems like a dummy comedy shonen, but it's so much more than that *-*

I have Gintama on my harddisc but I didn't have the time to watch it. XD I know it's epic though, my best friend loves it!
