I was on the set of Transformers 3 in Washington DC on Oct. 12, 2010. I took a ton of photos!Bumblebee had an accident on Oct. 11th, but I was there on the 12th when they brought in two more! No worries, folks, Bumblebee is alive and well and seems to have many clones
They resumed filming with his character on the 12th.That dump truck in the background was in the explosive scene they filmed later the evening of the 12th. This is the link to the video I took of it that I put on YouTube:

I wondered if they repaired the Bumblebee that crashed or if they just left it as is.

Not that familiar, but that's how I knew they were filming in DC, because they showed the crash on the news.

omg! I saw a video someone took of the accident. I actually shrieked. Guh. Car accidents make my skin crawl. I've been in two. :/

That would be sweet, but I don't think so. The truck was in the explosion scene filmed later that evening (you can see it in my video). It appears to be just a prop. I met the guy that was driving it and he said he just drives it wherever they want it. He was a local fellow hired just to do that; said it was the best week in the world.
