Another fine commish from and another showing of Lara in her human form, showign that there was indeed sexual tension betweeen them, long before Lara had her inhibitions loosened as it were by becoming robotic.Being a gunner, Lara subscribed to a looser code of conduct and regulations than Lara as a pilot, generally, speaking pilots have a clooser eye kept on them. Indeed, Lara felt no need to wear her uniform properly, carry around her regulation sidearm, or indeed even pretend not to undress Maria with her eyes whenever they encounted each other back on the base-ship.
Of course this was all before they got to know each other, back when Maria was the rookie pilot, uncertain of everything, not even willing to take a chance and wear the jacket she so prizes, while Lara had a few years of experience as gunner under her belt, it took a little time for Maria to loosen up, but by that time, she and Lara were good friends indeed...

Absolutely superb. Rad is the best artist on DA in my opinion.
It's subtle, but I love that. All the little glances and shy looks. This is what girls are like when they fancy each other; we're not obvious about it.
Lovely to see Lara's human form too.

Mm, well I don't think I've seen enough of the artists on DA to guage that, but Rad is certainly up there.
Indeed, I really wanted this one to be all about the subtext rather than any physical closeness, and Rad certainly nailed it.
Yeah, I've been trying to showcase it a little more often, she actually has it in her past so it only makes sense to acknowledge it.

Rad's said he doesn't feel comfortable with the explicit lesbian stuff, so this kind of shot is ideal for him.

but by the looks of her old body not much improvement was needed
