Red-Tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis)Saw this guy a week or so ago before the heavy storm that hit us. The picture turned out pretty well considering how dark the sky was. We were blacked out by clouds. I'm pretty sure this is a red-shouldered hawk, but I could be wrong. The species has a few lookalikes.
UPDATE: The species has been identified as a red-tailed hawk, not a red-shouldered hawk. Thanks to the iNat community for helping me out.
