i just sorta winged it on information and imagination i have. Secretion and throwing seemed possible but with the monster's hide? how could it get enough in time. also i have a good knowledge of monsters, particularly dragons (your monster sports some draconian traits) and often, the most fascinating weapon of most dragons is usually their breath. goo shot at high velocity, capable of ensnaring the victim and either pull it back in or continue to trap them. that answer your question?
