I think love between twin brother and sister doesn't have to immediately turn towards incest, I see a lot of a pure love beyond the realm of the sexual expressed in this drawing.

While it's a great picture there were never any incestuous overtones written in the stories.
Also JP is a homosexual. Those overtones were heavily writen in to the stories.
