Description Further excursions to far away worlds can be experienced in my DA "Paleo & Sci Illo" gallery:

This is a moon of a gas giant orbiting its G-type star in the habitable zone. Although Rosetta is only slightly larger than Mars it has an active metallic core that generates a magnetosphere. This protects it from ionizing radiation from the gas giant and allows it to retain a thick atmosphere. The colors of the sky, the water and the rocks in this picture are a clear indication that there is at least microbial photosynthesizing life on this moon.

One artistic feature that is often neglected is the fact that no part of the sky can be darker than background light scatter of the atmosphere. After drawing in the background planet and moons I applied a sky blue wash over the sky to insure this phenomenon was accurately depicted.

Very nice, so it's based on Titan a little bit

THANX.

I could have gone further with the reflection effects, but a tiny artcard doesn't warrant it.
