Description
Sally: I can see it now – a Black lesbian and her Asian lover reopening the theater. Is that going to fly well in this Texas town? I should just sell this dump.
Bonnie: Don't speak like that. Your mother entrusted it to you, not your brothers or sisters, but you. She must have seen something in you. Maybe the same thing I see – a strong, intelligent, bold woman standing before me.
Sally: It's nice, but it takes more than knowing show tunes to cult films to run a place like this, and the people can't wait for a witch hunt.
Bonnie: Then let's give them witches to hunt.
Bonnie grabs Sally by the arms, reaches up, and kisses her as the wall of the theater pops in and out of existence.
