Description
Despite the comical and ungainly reputation her bovine-kind holds, Ngu beat the odds to become a skilled sleeve dancer. She wasn't light on her feet so instead of prancing around she focused on the grace of her arms. Now she wants to beat the odds even further by performing at the most prestigious event: The Jade Banquet.

I wanted a sleeve dancer in the lineup, come hell or hot water. Ngu was supposed to be the easiest to do, yet became the hardest. I designed the Zodihavoc characters on combat styles and/or their tools. TouZhai and XaiWong throw heavy things around, Tsau punches, Hoh themes around food.

I watched vids and flapped a towel around to get a feel of the martial style and after a few mistakes I decided she'd be a whipper with a side of wind-based attacks. I also broke so many of my design rules to get her done, like using gradients.

Was pretty cretain when I started inking she was plumper, Ngu is supposed to be a big curvy girl.
That'll teach me to marathon half-dozen drawings back-to-back, exhaustion helpeth not designing.

Clubcard patrons get two extra scraps, previous designs I junked at the inking phase and scribbled my retake notes on. At one point, her sleeves were tipped with multiple daggers.
